MedX Global – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MedX app and website (the "Services") provided by MedX SRL ("MedX", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Do not use the Services if you do not agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

• Your use of the Services is subject to these Terms.
• We are in active development; while we aim for full regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR), parts of our Services may still be under development.
• Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if your account is compromised.

4. Account Deletion & Consent Withdrawal

• You can delete your account at any time via Settings → "Delete Account".
• Account deletion also withdraws consent for all data processing and permanently removes your data.
• Account deletion is irreversible.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and lawful information when using the Services.
• Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or illegally access our systems or content.
• You are responsible for verifying AI-generated outputs before acting on them.

6. Payments & Billing

• If you purchase subscription-based services, you must provide accurate billing information.
• Payments are processed through Stripe; MedX does not store card details.
• Subscription cancellation stops recurring billing, but data is retained until account deletion.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content, features, code, and design elements belong to MedX or our licensors.
• You may only use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use and with explicit permission.
• Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of our content is prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• MedX is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services, including reliance on AI outputs.
• The Services are provided "as is" without warranty.
• We are not responsible for third-party services accessed through the app (e.g., healthcare providers or payment processors).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MedX harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of or reliance on the Services
• Your use of AI-generated content without verification

10. Termination

• MedX may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or other reasons.
• Upon termination, Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 survive indefinitely.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via app or email for material changes. Ongoing use implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. GDPR & Data Rights

• We comply with GDPR. Your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) are defined in our Privacy Policy.
• Deleting your account is the only way to fully withdraw consent and erase your personal data per GDPR obligations.
